BBQ Pulled Lion’s Mane Tacos

Time: 20 Minutes


8 oz box of lion’s mane
½ tsp salt 
½ cup BBQ sauce
1 tsp smoked paprika
¼ tsp garlic powder
Pinch pepper
Flour tortillas 
Salsa verde 
Lime (optional)
Avocado (optional)


Step 01 - Trim off any woody ends of the lion’s mane. Use your hands to shred into ¼” thick strips. 

Step 02 - Heat a large pan over medium-high with canola oil. 

Step 03 - Once the oil shimmers, add your lion’s mane and season with salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder and pepper. Allow it to brown on one side before giving it a stir, 3 to 5 minutes. Once mushrooms are cooked, add your BBQ sauce. Continue cooking until sauce thickens and coats mushrooms.

Step 04 - Heat a large cast iron over medium heat. Toast tortillas, then top with lion’s mane, salsa verde and cilantro.
